I recently purchased a Konica z-up 80e film camera to document my trip to Asia in October 2024. I mainly wanted to take up a new hobby, alongside creating physical memories of my trip rather than depending on my iPhone and iCloud. Why did no one tell me how bloody expensive the film photography hobby would be?! £10 per film roll (that’s expected) but £15 to develop, scan and send the pictures via email! On the flip side, I’m glad I’ve discovered a new hobby at the ripe age of 27 that doesn’t consist of going to the pub or playing Sims 4.

The Konica z-up 80e is a fab camera to get if you’re a newbie like me. Incredible zoom, easy to function and great picture quality. I know absolutely sod all about cameras and photography, but I managed to take some brill pictures on this so I highly recommend for someone who wants to start up the hobby.
